Ms. Buhl practices in the areas of elder law, long-term care planning, estate planning, special needs planning and estate and trust administration. Ms. Buhl is a past chairperson of the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section of the State Bar of Michigan and is vice president of the Michigan Medicare Medicaid Assistance Program. Ms. Buhl, was selected in 2015 as a Fellow by the Michigan State Bar Foundation, was a recipient of the Joe D. Sutton Call to Justice Award presented by Elder Law of Michigan in 2015, and in 2016 was honored as a member of Michigan Lawyer’s Weekly Michigan Women in the Law. She is a frequent speaker on estate planning, elder law, long-term care planning, and Medicaid eligibility.
Ms. Buhl is “of counsel” to our firm, meaning that she provides her expertise and experience to our firm and our clients on a regular, ongoing basis in specialized matters regarding Medicaid and Long- Term Health Care Planning. Rosemary’s primary office is in Lansing, but she consults with us on a regular basis providing insight and expertise on the complex and ever-changing regulations of the Medicaid program. Ms. Buhl is available to confer with clients as needed.
